We offer a play-based curriculum that is designed to promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Our curriculum includes a variety of activities such as art, music, science, math, and outdoor play to engage and challenge children of all ages.
Healthy, Fresh lunches & snacks
Catering provided by Wholesome Kids Catering gives us healthy, nutritious meals and fresh snacks prepared daily. Each meal is thoughtfully designed to support children's growth and development by supplying the nutrients and energy they need to learn, explore, play, and thrive in a healthy and active environment.
outdoor play
We provide children with daily opportunities to participate in outdoor play within a safe and engaging environment. Outdoor experiences support social development by encouraging cooperation, communication, problem-solving, and positive peer interactions. Through active exploration and connection with the natural environment, children develop confidence, independence, and an appreciation for the world around them.
PARENT RELATIONSHIP
We are committed to building strong relationships with families through our open-door policy. We encourage parents to be actively engaged in their child's care and educational experiences, creating a collaborative environment that supports each child's success.

In partnership with the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Open Arms Barrie fosters an environment where children experience God's love while learning the values of kindness, compassion, and gratitude. Guided by faith, we strive to create a welcoming and nurturing community, and we pray that God's grace will touch the hearts of all who enter our doors.
